Technical Abstract: A measurement method based on Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) was developed to monitor the working condition of combine harvester for remote application. Three JN5139 modules were chosen for sensor data acquisition and another two as a router and a coordinator, which could create a tree topology network afterwards. A Wince5.0 based software was developed to receive and process data which could be further shown on ARM based system .The data could be further processed and displayed on the laptop in software under the VS2005. During field study, the system can acquire desired information and remotely monitor the status of tested machine.
