Interpretive Summary: Winterstar™ is a new strawberry variety released by the University of Florida and well adapted for mild winter production areas. Like the current commercial cultivar grown in Florida, ‘Strawberry Festival’, it has a steady yield and durable plant characteristics. Furthermore, it produces a large bright red fruit during the entire growing season, and it has had high acceptability rating by taste panels.
