This book has been prepared by a team of international experts in the field of yeast taxonomy and describes all currently known yeast species. Included in the book are characterization of species from morphology, growth tests and gene sequences. Species descriptions also include information on ecology, systematics, phylogeny, biotechnological uses, importance to food and agriculture and clinical significance.
