Objective:
The purpose of this Agreement is to continue the activity under the China-U.S. Joint Research Center for Food Safety (Shanghai), co-located at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (“SJTU”) and the USDA Agricultural Research Service (“ARS”).
Approach:
Each Center will conduct research on topics of mutual interest in the scientific and technical activities of food safety, such as the development of rapid pathogen detection processes, new analysis methods of chemical hazards in foods and surrounding environments, and food safety technological standards.
