Objective:
Assess, develop and/or deliver region-specific scientific information and technologies for agricultural and natural resource managers that enable climate-smart decision-making and where possible provide assistance to enable land managers to implement those decisions.

Approach:
The California Sub Hub located at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Davis Location, and as part of the ARS Crops Pathology and Genetics research unit based at the Davis, CA Location, will work closely with the University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources in assessing and developing resources to support science-based land management and conservation practices for ranches, farms and forested lands in California. This agreement specifically focuses on providing resources and information to the University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources to support and enhance their existing efforts and programs with customers and stakeholders in California.
