Location:

Project Number: 3012-21000-016-004-S
Project Type: Non-Assistance Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Jul 1, 2014
End Date: Jun 30, 2019

Objective:
The objective of this cooperative agreement is to collect data that describe barley fruit and seed traits in support of a larger study “Assessment of genetic diversity changes over a 30 year period in barley landraces and their wild relatives”. The study is a 3-way collaboration between Bioversity, IPK and PGPRU.

Approach:
A total of 52 accessions listed in Appendix 1 will be cleaned and scored for 13 descriptors listed in Appendix 2. Data will be collected at the IPK and completed data sheets with characterization data will be scanned and sent to USDA on a weekly basis.
