Objective:
To evaluate the impact of seasonal insecticide sprays applied for codling moth on the primary parasitoid of San Jose scale.

Approach:
Pesticides typically used by apple growers to control codling moth will be applied to assess their secondary effects on the primary hymenopteran parasitoid attacking San Jose scale in our region, Aphytis spp. This will evaluated under laboratory conditions and in field plots.
