Objective:
Improve scientific and public health understanding of how dietary mycotoxin exposure, in conjunction with other risk factors for diarrheal diseases, affects child growth development in low-income nations.

Approach:
Utilize biomarkers developed from studies in humans in Guatemala to assess biomarkers of fumonisin exposure in maize consumers and their correlation with the incidence of diarrheal diseases and child growth development in Nepal and Tanzania.
