Objective:
To create novel weed management systems by developing herbicide-tolerant lettuce and spinach germplasm.

Approach:
We will use germplasm screening and chemical mutagenesis to find and create herbicide-tolerant lettuce and spinach germplasm, and test them in trials in major production regions of California.
