Objective:
Identify source of resistance in lettuce to wilt incited by Verticillium dahliae.

Approach:
Inoculate in pasteurized riverbed sand in the greenhouse. Observe for formation of mycelium, date of occurrence, and date of plant death. Documents SCA with UC, Davis.
