Objective:
To provide outreach programs to farmers and consumers in Iowa and Illinois on the holistic agronomic management systems that include no-tillage, multifunctional cover crops and gypsum soil amendment to enhance soybean productivity while improve soil quality and mitigate climate change.

Approach:
Establish demonstration plots at the Farm Progress shows to demonstrate the efficacy of (1) no-till versus conventional tillage, (2) gypsum (2000 lbs/acre) versus no-gypsum soil amendment, and (3) cover crop versus no cover crop on soybean seed yield.
