Objective:
Examine the use of mechanical devices coupled with innovative compounds to improve clarification and evaporation of sugarcane and sugarbeet juices by targeting specified particle sizes.

Approach:
Conduct field or pilot-scale trials using new mechanical filtration devices and improved clarifier design coupled with laboratory tests of compounds to target specified particle size removal in clarification.
