Objective:
Enhance the biofuel properties of crop plants by using Corngrass1 gene.

Approach:
1) Over expression of Cg1 behind tissue specific promoters. 2) Analysis of SPL loss of function phenotypes. 3) Identify the targets of SPL genes using expression profiling and chromatin immunoprecipitation.
