Objective:
The symposium will: (1) provide support from funding agencies for our alternatives to antibiotics research programs, which cross cuts four ARS national programs 101, 103, 106, and 108; (2) highlight ARS research at a major international scientific meeting; (3) provide opportunities to transfer ARS alternatives to antibiotics technologies to the private sector; and (4) recommendations from the symposium participants will include research gaps and priorities which will inform ARS national programs.

Approach:
