Objective:
Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is a major crop in production systems in the southeastern U.S. Developing improved genetics for this crop is critical for the development of improved conservation tillage systems and to improve potential waste management programs that include peanuts in the production systems. The objective of this study would be to improve peanut genetics for production systems in the southeastern U.S.

Approach:
The funds will be used to work with students and staff on current laboratory research.
