Objective:
Develop data to support the registration of pesticides on ornamental crops.
Approach:
Ornamental crops will be maintained under good agricultural practices and pesticides will be applied to the crops following research protocols developed by the IR-4 Project for the specific trials as agreed to by ARS and the cooperators. The appropriate data will be obtained and may include crop safety, efficacy and crop yield. These data will be recorded on IR-4 approved IR-4 forms and submitted to ARS in a timely fashion when the research trials are completed.
