Location: Wheat Genetics, Quality Physiology and Disease Research
Project Number: 5348-21430-005-01
Project Type:
Specific Cooperative Agreement
Start Date: Jun 26, 2009
End Date: Jun 25, 2014

Approach:
Field trials of advanced breeding lines from the USDA-ARS wheat breeding project, located in Pullman, WA, will be established at four locations in NW Oregon. Those trials will be evaluated for agronomic characteristics, grain yield, and quality factors. In the greenhouse and laboratory, breeding lines will be evaluated for traits that are associated with enhanced production in hot, dry environments. Replaces 5348-21220-003-03S (12/08).
