To produce reagent "kits" for detection of several agricultural pathogens that will be used in Idaho Technology's detection instruments.

To utilize newly developed technology and instrumentation to develop and evaluate rapid molecular detection capabilities using real time PCR analysis of several agricultual pathogens. To determine the best extractional procedures for obtaining nucleic acids from the dairy farm environment.
