Objective:
To develop a database to facilitate the management and utilization of animal genetic resources including samples stored in a gene bank, phenotypes, genotypes, management systems, and the environment.
Approach:
Database programmers from both organizations will contribute to software development. Animal-GRIN will be accessible via the internet for data entry or public use of the system.
