Objective:
1. Assist in the adaptation of the AgScouter scouting system to California vegetable and grape production and in the development of the chemical management module for both Florida and California production. 2. Assist in training sessions to teach producers, crop advisors, Extension personnel and scouts how to use the system.

Approach:
1. ZedX will enter digitized maps of the California Central Valley vegetable, Napa Valley grape, and Florida vegetable production regions in to the AgScouter database. The maps will be provided by cooperators. In addition, the database of crops, disease and insect pests for California will be given to ZedX to upload in to AgScouter database. The development of the chemical management database will largely be conducted by personnel at ZedX with information pulled from both online and printed resources. The relevant information on pesticide labels will be included in the database. 2. Training sessions will be developed to teach growers, extension personnel, and scouts how to use AgScouter in both Florida and California. ZedX will be an active participate in the development and implementation of the training session and will be responsible for teaching the overall functionality of AgScouter. In cooperation with the PI’s, ZedX will assist in the development of user manual and will create a series of online tutorials accessible directly through the AgScouter website and/or through the online site YouTube.
