Objective:
Identify sources of resistance to frogeye leaf spot and septoria brown spot disease of soybean in early maturity groups (MG II-IV). Develop soybean breeding lines with resistance to frogeye leaf spot and brown spot.
Approach:
The objective will be achieved identifying soybean germplasm line with resistance to frogeye leaf spot and brown spot using field screening and marker assisted selection. The resistant lines will then be crossed with high yielding MG II-IV soybean cultivars.
