1a.Objectives (from AD-416):

1b.Approach (from AD-416):
ARS will work with MCC to identify agricultural research activities in support of MCC compact interventions. Implementation arrangements will be specified and carried out by ARS scientists through interagency agreements (IAA).
The Non Funded Cooperative Agreement was signed with MCC in FY12 to cover a five year period of agricultural research activities in support of MCC compact interventions. Implementation arrangements are specified and carried out by ARS scientists through interagency agreements. Current activities under this NFCA are funded under (and reported on) a reimbursable Cooperative Agreement 58-6235-2-091 project # 6235-11210-00714R MCC Namibia Monitoring and Evaluation Support.
In May, 2013, the Office of International Research Programs (OIRP) held a meeting with MCC Agricultural Officers to discuss activities to further develop MCC-ARS partnership.
