Research Project: PILOT TESTING PROJECT FOR ANIMAL NARMS SAMPLING Project Number: 0204-41510-001-40
Project Type: Specific Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: May 01, 2012
End Date: Apr 30, 2014

Objective:
To provide epidemiologic expertise and to coordinate the beef and dairy cattle sampling for antimicrobial resistance.

Approach:
A network of Universities and ARS scientists are participating in pilot testing program for on farm animal NARMS sampling. This agreement provides for the scientific expertise and the assistance in coordinating sampling The cooperator's expertise has been useful in several scientific steering committees.
