Objective:
Identify seedling traits from different seed sources that increase probability of seedling establishment.

Approach:
The approach is to collect seed sources from multiple populations, including commercial cultivars and sow seeds and a subset of sites selected in the Great Basin. Populations will be screened for numerous root and shoot physiological and morphological traits.
