Objective:
Evaluate carrot breeding stocks for production in organic agriculture systems under weed pressure in diverse growing locations.

Approach:
a) Evaluate carrots with elite nematode and alternaria resistance for ability to grow in a weedy field. b) Grow diverse carrots with disease and pest resistance and evaluate top growth. c) Measure the effect weeds have on carrot crop production.
