Objective:
ARS will support the DTRA Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP) mission in a global partnership network targeting biosecurity research and capacity building.

Approach:
ARS will support the DTRA Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP) mission in a global partnership network targeting biosecurity research and capacity building. This support will focus on CBEP new engagements in Sub-Saharan Africa and developing countries throughout the world. In addition the collaboration will meet CBEP biological threat reduction objectives by building critically needed scientific capacity with partner countries and relevant institutions by enhancing partnerships that address target pathogens on the select agent list. ARS will oversee the administration of this project outlined in this Statement of Work (SOW), including establishing sub agreements with partners for implementation and oversight, monitoring and evaluation of activities conducted under those agreements.
