Research Project: ANALYSIS OF MOISTURE-TENSION CHARACTERISTICS IN SOIL SAMPLES
2012 Annual Report

1a.Objectives (from AD-416):
The objective is to have ~200 soil samples analyzed for moisture-tension relationships for organic and nonorganic soils under a rotation that includes corn.

1b.Approach (from AD-416):
Standard laboratory procedures will be used to develop the moisture characteristic curves for the samples.

3.Progress Report:

Approximately 200 samples of soil for the CAP project were analyzed in the Ohio State University laboratory for suction measurement and sample sizes. Further analyses on the samples will continue through the ARS lab in Columbus, Ohio.
