Objective:
The objective of this agreement is to improve the crossing and seed production capabilities of the Canal Point Cultivar Development Program to the mutual benefit of the USDA-ARS Sugarcane Field Station and the Florida Sugarcane Industry.

Approach:
Continue the cooperative and collaborative research of the tripartite agreement of the USDA-ARS Sugarcane Field Station, the University of Florida EREC and the Florida Sugar Cane League to develop CP Cultivars and to improve the crossing ability by renovating the parental nursery area.
