3.Progress Report:
This project supports objective 2 of the parent project. This research is being conducted in support of the NIFA-SCRI project “Developing Sustainable Vineyard Water Management with Limited and Impaired Water Supplies”. The deliverable being supported by this agreement is “Disseminate study findings via presentations, publications, Web-based learning and tailgate outreach”. No formal extension and outreach events were planned to occur prior to the summer of 2012. However, significant progress has been made in delivering project-related information to the target grower community. Most of the outreach occurred thru invited presentations, abstracts, and journal publications. There were a total of 35 talks given to a wide range of audiences including professional society meetings to farmer field days. A total of 6 publications were submitted to journals and conferences along with 11 abstracts. During this period the website was upgraded to reflect the current activities and can be found at www.ngwi.org.
