2011 Annual Report


1a.Objectives (from AD-416)
Strengthen the collaborations between ARS and Kansas State University (K-State) in areas of mutual interest through cooperative research programs and exchanges, and to jointly to explore and coordinate research activities of mutual interest within the broad scope of animal health and plant health research conducted in Kansas.


1b.Approach (from AD-416)
Encourage and facilitate direct contacts among appropriate institutions and specialists and work toward long-term cooperation in agricultural research and development programs focused on protecting America’s food animals (livestock) and food crops (grain) from foreign and domestic disease threats.
