Research Project: INVESTIGATE COLOR-MATCHING METHODS BY SCANNING TIME AVERAGED ROTATING OBJECT SPECTRUM

Location: Peanut Research

Project Number: 6604-41430-005-07
Project Type: Nonfunded Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Aug 01, 2010
End Date: Sep 30, 2012

Objective:
Determine peanut maturity by reading their color wavelengths using specttral measurements from hull-scraped peanuts.

Approach:
Will make a large number of color measurements on hull-scraped peanuts. Read their color wavelengths and from this data will be able to determine their state of maturity.
