Objective:
The objectives of this cooperative research project are to develop more profitable approaches to ruminant livestock production, provide educational opportunities in livestock and forage management for students enrolled in an agricultural undergraduate program, and expose students to science and agricultural research.

Approach:
New approaches to forage livestock systems will be envisioned and jointly evaluated in laboratory and field research. ARS will facilitate educational opportunities in livestock and forage management for students enrolled in an agricultural undergraduate program by lending expertise and sharing access to facilities and land, and exposing students to science and agricultural research.
