2009 Annual Report 1a.Objectives (from AD-416) In a collaborative effort to evaluate the effects of a micronutrient supplement in children, we will provide consultation in the protocol development for the collection of blood from 300 children at baseline and 6 months post feeding and perform the assays of nutritional status biomarkers. 1b.Approach (from AD-416) We will analyze blood for zinc, B12, folate, retinol and serum transferrin receptors. If more serum is available, the following biomarkers will be performed in the following order: vitamin D, riboflavin and CRP. Documents Trust wioth Mathile Institute.
