3.Progress Report

This grant achieved its objective in providing timely wheat quality data for regional nurseries grown by researchers in the eastern US. The Ohio State University staff working within the Soft Wheat Quality Laboratory produced quality data for the Uniform Eastern Soft Wheat Nursery, the Uniform Southern Nursery of soft red winter wheat, the Mason-Dixon Regional Nursery of soft red winter wheat, and the Gulf and Western Regional Nursery of soft red winter wheat. The data for the nurseries was reported to the researchers who produced the nurseries. Regional data is posted at the Soft Wheat Quality Laboratory web-site: http://www.ars.usda.gov/News/News.htm?modecode=36-07-05-00 . The complete USDA-ARS nursery data for the Uniform Southern Nursery and the Uniform Eastern Nursery is posted at: http://www.ars.usda.gov/main/docs.htm?docid=2925. ADODR Monitoring: Weekly meetings were held to discuss research and bi-weekly emails.
