Objective:
To sequence and annotate the entire genome of the model grass Brachypodium distachyon.

Approach:
A shotgun sequencing strategy will be used to sequence the Brachypodium genome. Raw sequences will be assembled into contigs and annotated. Documents NFCA with Joint Genome Institute (DOE)
