Location: Watershed Physical Processes Research Unit

2005 Annual Report

4d.Progress report.
This report serves to document research conducted under a Reimbursable Agreement between ARS and USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Additional details of research can be found in the report of the parent project 6408-13000-012-00D, Integrated Analysis of Landscape Processes for Management of Agricultural Watersheds. Computer technology was developed for the USDA-NRCS to automatically determine the proper input parameters associated with a watershed and required by the USDA watershed simulation model AnnAGNPS, based on geographic information systems (GIS) technology. Technical assistance was provided to NRCS in several projects involving watershed assessment of conservation management practices.
