Objective:
To incorporate environmental sensing and plant growth monitoring data into useful metrics for production decision making that will improve resource use efficiency for irrigation and nutrients, preserving yield and reducing environmental impact.
Approach:
Use field and plot scale research sites in the Lower Mississippi River Basin to the measure agricultural crop plant response to field environments. Use these measurements to generate decision guides for irrigation, nutrient and overall crop management.
