Research Project: Evaluating Potential Gas Emissions During Anaerobic Soil Disinfestation

Location: Citrus and Other Subtropical Products Research

Project Number: 6034-22000-043-008-S
Project Type: Non-Assistance Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Sep 1, 2014
End Date: Aug 31, 2019

Objective:
The objective of the current research project is to evaluate field-scale application of anaerobic soil disinfestation for the generation of nitrous oxide during treatment.

Approach:
Replicated field trials will be conducted with grower cooperators. Each participating researcher will collect air samples during the application of ASD. Samples will be processed by a single laboratory and analyzed for nitrous oxide.
