Education:
Associates of Arts in Biology, Muskegon Community College 1992
Technical Responsibilities:
I participate in the Free-Air Controlled Enrichment (FACE) experiments as part of the Global Change group. I collect, analyze and present for publication, plant physiology data including: carbon assimilation, conductance, transpiration, water potential, apical development, growth and biomass, as well as carbohydrate content (assays) and many other parameters. I help determine the effects of increased atmospheric carbon dioxide levels on a variety of crops including wheat (Triticum aestivum (L.) cv. Yecora Rojo), barley (Hordium vulgaris (L.) cv. Alexis), sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) and soy beans (Glycine Max) and help establish what role these influences will have on crops in the future.
