I began working at NLAE in the summer of May 2001 for an internship under Dr. Sauer while completing my B.S. degree in Animal Ecology (Fisheries) from Iowa State University. Shortly thereafter, I began working with the hydrology/watershed group under the direction of Kevin Cole and have remained with the team since then. Although my role has evolved over the course of my career at NLAE, I have enjoyed the diverse projects and activities that I have been involved with over the years, as well as working with a talented group of people within the laboratory. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, gardening, birding, and exploring the outdoors.
