Name: Jeff Carstens   Title: Agricultural Science Research Technician(Plants) Organization: USDA-ARS-MWA-PIRU Role/Crops/Team: Jeff is currently serving as the interim curator for the collection of woody landscape plants at NCRPIS. He is overseeing the maintenance, preservation, acquisition, characteriziation / evaluation, documentation, and distribution of woody landscape accessions.  Special Interests: Jeff coordinates the NC-7 Woody Ornamental Evaluation Trials including the collection and analysis of evaluation data.  He is actively involved in collecting ash seeds from various parts of the U.S. as part of The NPGS Ash Conservation Project.
