EXPERIENCE

Dale Spracklin began working at the ARS in December of 1997 to help with the integration of the Bozeman facility into the Sidney facility. At that time his position was through the Montana State University Eastern Agricultural Research Center as a computer specialist.

In 1998 Dale started working with Dr. Gerald Anderson in a precision-agriculture study and remote sensing of noxious weed. Along with the work in GIS he also continued to help with the administration of the local area network. He became a federal employee in 2000 where he continues to split his time between the LAN and GIS projects.
