pQCT (peripheral computed tomography) for determination of bone strength, geometry, and cortical and trabecular bone density  

·          Accelerator Mass Spectroscopy (AMS), in conjunction with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, to determine the amount of calcium lost from the skeleton
