USDA Genebank Living Collections Open Houses, August 2013
WHAT: Tour the field collections with genebank curators and sample hundreds of blueberry and pear varieties.

WHERE: The National Clonal Germplasm Repository is in Corvallis, Oregon, at 33447 Peoria Road. From Corvallis go 1 mile east on Highway 34, turn south on Peoria Road and go 1 mile until you see the Pear Open House sign.
The National Clonal Germplasm Repository is one of 30 USDA genebanks nationwide, and safeguards thousands of varieties of hazelnuts, strawberries, hops, mints, pears, currants, gooseberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and cranberries from around the world.
