Thad Cochran Southern Horticulture Laboratory!

Thad Cochran Southern Horticulture Laboratory

Our laboratory is located on the grounds of Mississippi State University's South Mississippi Branch Experiment Station in Poplarville, MS.
 USDA-ARS and MSU personnel work together to improve cultural and management practices for the production of small fruits, ornamental plants, vegetables and other crops grown in the Gulf Coast region.
Work in the laboratories, greenhouses and research plots is divided into 2 main disciplines:
