Welcome to the CPCRC
The Columbia Plateau Conservation Research Center (CPCRC) was constructed north of Pendleton, OR, in 1970. The CPCRC conducts research on soil and water conservation issues in the Columbia Plateau and related land resource areas.
The scientific and technical expertise at the CPCRC encompasses agronomy, soil chemistry, soil physics, hydrology, and microbiology.
Capabilities include:
The CPCRC works in partnership with Oregon State University and cooperates with land grant institutions in Washington and Idaho, other USDA-ARS laboratories, action agencies such as the NRCS and FSA, growers, crop consultants, technology companies, and others.
