Western Human Nutrition Research Center

 

 

The mission of the Western Human Nutrition Research Center (WHNRC) is to test dietary interventions for preventing obesity and related chronic diseases, improving immune function and micronutrient status, and reducing pathogenic inflammation. The WHNRC is organized into two Research Units, Obesity and Metabolism, and Immunity and Disease Prevention. The WHNRC houses a Human Studies Area and Metabolic Kitchen and Human Feeding Lab, as well as Core Support Labs.
