USDA Reschedules Public Meeting on Plum Island Animal Disease Center

WASHINGTON, Feb. 1—Due to inclement weather, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has rescheduled to Sunday, Feb. 13, a public meeting it originally planned for Jan. 20th in Southampton, N.Y., to discuss scientific activities at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center.

The Feb. 13 meeting will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Southampton Elementary School, 30 Pine Street, Southampton.

USDA officials attending the rescheduled event will discuss ongoing programs at Plum Island and safety procedures in place there.
