Symptoms: Crop growth is variable and patchy.

Pathogen and disease characteristics: Females form egg sacs and cysts on roots. Brown cysts can be recovered from the soil.

Host range: Pearl millet, sorghum.

Geographic distribution: Gambia, Niger.

Seed transmission: Not transmitted by seed.
