USDA Nutrient Database for Standard Reference, Release 12 (CD-ROM)

This nutrient database serves as the major source of food composition data in the United States. With data on 5,976 food items and up to 81 food components, it forms the foundation for most food composition databases in the public and private sectors. Release 12 supersedes the food composition data published in Agriculture Handbook No. 8 and includes updated data published on the web since 1992.
